Strategy:
For Francis, the strategy development was focused on building out a platform and education business that could scale and grow with partners and a strong support core organization. The key to any strategy is to find the right product mix that will drive the strongest basis for long term, recurring revenue. In the case of Information Mapping, that comes from creating a strong platform business that is supported with key education and training support. In addition, the education and training as well as awareness programs that the company runs around the need for well written documentation creates the demand that creates that “I need that service, where do I get it” phenomenon that every CEO is looking to capture.
In thinking about your business, focus on the key drivers – the key factors that will create that long term revenue base and ultimately that demand for your product.
