Creating Good Content, Overview

This is part five of a five part series between Tyler Pyburn, host at The Pulse Network, and Butch Stearns, Chief Operating Officer at The Pulse Network, as they hash out what goes into creating good content.

Throughout this 5 Part series I reviewed four different ways in developing good content.

In Part 1 I break down how to get started on creating good content. I use the acronym “ACE”; “A” meaning audience, “C” meaning care, and “E” meaning expert. You start by thinking about your audience, making them want to care, and becoming an expert.

In Part 2 I provide some tips in achieving the underlining goal of creating good content by picking a topic that you care about. Use your passion and love for a product to help yourself sound more conversational in a conversation.

In Part 3 I focus on the prime goal of being conversational. Making the conversation about the audience creates a connection with your audience that makes them care about the content you’re presenting them.

In Part 4 I explain that the easiest way to connect with your audience members is to make them laugh. Having some fun with the way you display your content will give people a reason to tune back to hear what you say next.

Creating Good Content, Talk To Me

This is part three of a five part series between Tyler Pyburn, host at The Pulse Network, and Butch Stearns, Chief Operating Officer at The Pulse Network, as they hash out what goes into creating good content.

When creating good content it’s essential to understand the basics of communicating effectively. In order to keep someone’s interest in what you’re saying it’s so important to be conversational. Make the content about them. Communicate in front of a camera or into a microphone the same way you would communicate while having a conversation with your friend. This may seem “easier said than done” for some people, so I’ll break it down for you. Start out with a question to catch your audience’s attention. Make them care about what you’re saying. By starting off with a question, your audience will immediately start thinking about a logical answer, which in fact will make them engaged in your subject matter. Making it about your audience opens that channel of communication, which is a vital part of creating good content.
